Big Web's Best Bets: Playoffs Week 2

Good morning all, hope all is well with you and yours.  Before we spell out week 2, let’s review our Wild card picks & see how we did.....

We had a strong start Saturday picking Buffalo to cover over Houston (push) and the Titans over New England outright.  All parlays & teasers were in tact for Sunday.  Then...... New Orleans decides not to show up.....On their home field! With their raucous crowd! Against a crap quarterback!

Last week I mentioned that the health of Thielen & Cook would play a factor and it did, but if you noticed in the game, they both had very slow starts, and if the Saints would have been on their frickin game, they would have never got started!

We still actually had a chance to hit one of the teasers and break even for the weekend if they would have just won by a field goal in OT.  Very disappointed in these fellas. The Philly/Seahawk game was a tough one to call and we missed that one.  So for full disclosure:  Big Web goes 1-2-1 in Wild Card Weekend.

One last comment and we will move on to the divisional round: “New Orleans Sucks!”

Last week bankroll started at 1320.Down 600 last week including Sunday teaser on the radio show. Bankroll now stands at $720.

Divisional Round....

Here’s where it gets real boys & girls!  Can any of these Wild Card Wonders get it done against the best???

Vikings at Niners

Vikings are lucky to be where they are, thanks New Orleans (Still Pissed!). Can they pull off the upset??  I say no.  Niners are too solid on D.  They will not let Cousins & Cook get going.  There is some talk about wind out there.  If that happens forget it Cousins.  No gifts this week like you got last week!

Niners, will have a solid ball control game on the ground and short passes with Kittle and Kyle “Jurczyskvqpzx!”  I like the under here, as Minn D will be somewhat challenging.  Too many points.

Pick: Minn +7 Under 45.5

Titans at Ravens

Although Ryan Tannehill looked good during the regular season, he was a bit off last week against New England’s mediocre D.  If you are a little off vs New England.  Wait till you see what happens vs Baltimore!

Henry had a very good game, but they can’t be 1 dimensional vs Ravens.  And .....what was this play calling on 3rd & 3 throwing up a duck that was intercepted, when you have  the biggest strongest back in the league just needing 3 yards?  What??  They did well last week, but New England is not Baltimore! Baltimore is a strong as they have been all year.

Pick:  Baltimore - 9.5

Texans at KC

Looks to be KC here.  They are much healthier than in week 6 when Houston came in there and beat them.  KC’s defense is stronger with Suggs and playing very solid.

Jones is out on the D line, and Thornhill on the D backfield.  That makes me want to lean to the over on this one.  They scored 55 points in week 6.  Mahomes will be rolling and going deep plenty with a completely healthy Tyreek Hill.

Pick: Chiefs -9.5 Over 51 (looking close at weather)

Seahawks at Packers

I hate the Seahawks.  Can’t wait till they are out!  Their win last week over a very depleted Philly team didn’t blow my skirt up!  Metcalf is very talented.  He will get his, but overall I see Rogers getting it done on the cold this week.  700 faithful have been called in to shovel the 11” of snow off the field and stadium over night tonight. (Now that’s what I call a 12th man!)

Pick: GB - 4.5 Under 46.5

Big Web's Best Bets - Risking $300.00 (Bankroll going in $720)

Wager: $100 to win $500

7.5 Pt. Teaser:

SF (+.5)

BAL (-2.5)

KC (-2.5)

GB (+3)

Wager: $100 to win $150

2-Team Parlay:
