Day 4 Without Sports: Books

I'll be the first to admit, I've never been much of a reader. Although within the past year or so I've picked up a bit on reading and have made it a goal to read 25 books in 2020.

Although reading is a great way to both pass time and strengthen the mind and whether you enjoy fiction or non-fiction novels, there's a lot to gain from picking up a good book every now and then.

I prefer to read non-fiction over fiction and have a specific interest in the entrepreneurial books, since I currently relate most to those. Some current favorites I just finished up include Phil Knight's "Shoe Dog" detailing how he built Nike as well as "Leaders Eat Last" by Simon Sinek.

To quench the sports thirst baseball fans will love the newly released Cup of Coffee Club by my friend and colleague Jacob Kornhauser.

Here are a few other novels people are currently reading during quarantine szn

The Bible

Kingsbridge Trilogy - Ken Follett

Red Rising Trilogy - Ken Brown

Harry Potter - J.K. Rowling

Five Rings - Jerry Thorton

So even if you aren't into reading, try it out. There are so many great books out there. If you don't want to buy the book there are plenty of options to rent online or you can purchase a subscription to audible to listen to them instead.
